WHAT IS A GARDEN?

Sunday, 3. April 2016

3 April 2016 – Part 1: Thinking, Drawing, Planting
24 April 2016 – Part 2: Talking about rats, plants, ropes, cocopeat, cleaning and rain among other practical plans for the garden next to R and R. Followed by a film screening.

For conceiving the garden project outside R and R, discussions with children, young people and adults from Sindhu Society were held. The collective needs and wishes that emerged from these sessions—combined with discussions with experts— shaped the idea of the garden to be. This idea includes a walking path, trees and swings. As it happens, most of the work on the garden has since been undertaken by a group of residents from the neighbourhood.
